I love surfing in Portugal, specially in Algarve at the south west peninsula, where you can get the Atlantic swell on the west with plenty of spots, and a few minutes drive to more spots along the south coast with off shore winds as the September swells wrap around nicely. By now I hope the Summer crowds are beginning to thin out:)
