What if your wine tasting started on the ocean floor? This one-of-a-kind day trip blends diving, gastronomy and storytelling into an unforgettable Alentejo experience. It’s not just about what you taste… it’s where it comes from!
Depart Lisbon at 8:00 am, a two-hour drive in private van and head south to the coastal village of Porto Covo. Known for its wild beaches and unspoiled charm. This is an opportunity to meet us and talk about this unique experience.

First stop will be at the local Scuba Diving School for the safety briefing, suit up with a certified dive team, no experience needed for this introductory dive and move into the boat.
With or without previous experience, will be possible to do a baptism dive up to 10 meters (30 feet).

Take a zodiac boat ride to your underwater dive site, get comfortable in the water and descend up to 10 meters (30 feet) to explore local marine life like sea anemones, octopuses and nudibranchs. Plus, collect your own bottle of sea-aged wine.

After will be time to enjoy a long, relaxed lunch featuring modern Alentejo cuisine with bold regional flavors and fresh coastal ingredients The menu includes starters, drinks, main dishes, desserts and coffee. A truly degustation lunch of traditional Alentejo food with a twist by a new generation chef.

Short walk in to the heart of the village Porto Covo known for its wild beaches and unspoiled charm, that continues to be the friendly fishing village full of small white houses that was rebuilt by the Marquês de Pombal shortly after the 1755 earthquake.

On a guided tour will be possible to see the vineyards and get to know the history of the winery the Herdade do Cebolal, a family winery created on 1890 currently managed by the fourth and fifth generation, how they are wine artisans, respecting the authenticity of the terroir, which translates into wines with personality, respect for the environment and low chemical intervention.

Sample wines straight from the barrel and vat. Try two bottled wines plus the Emerso oak-aged version of your underwater wine, paired with local snacks like sausage, cheese and bread.

Drive back to Lisbon meeting point to drop off at 8pm.
